On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Virovitica University of Applied Sciences, agreements were signed for the full financing of doctoral studies.
Following interest expressed in response to the call for doctoral study enrollment, funding was approved for two scholarship recipients: Maja Resner, lecturer, and Martina Jukić, MSc in Economics, with a total amount exceeding €13,000.
Present at the signing ceremony were the Dean of the University, Dr. Dejan Tubić, and Virovitica-Podravina County Prefect Igor Andrović, given that Virovitica-Podravina County, along with its three cities and 13 municipalities, contributes to funding the university’s operations through the so-called “Virovitica Model.”
The scholarship recipients will focus their knowledge-building efforts on the humanities, particularly in the field of philology, as well as on the information and communication sciences, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary components.
By investing in its teaching staff in this way, the university continues to enhance personal and professional development through the knowledge gained.
