As part of the Erasmus+ international mobility programme and based on the inter-institutional agreement between Virovitica University of Applied Sciences and the University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, staff from the partner institution visited our university during June 2024.
From the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing and Electrical Engineering in Mostar, guests included:
- Krešimir Rakić, Assistant Professor in the field of Computing, who participated in professional development activities,
- Ivan Bevanda, Senior Assistant, who delivered lectures on topics such as an introduction to photovoltaic systems, modeling and simulation of PV systems, comparison of simulation software, the impact of the solar radiation spectrum, and the effects of soiling and degradation on PV cell efficiency,
- Marina Leko, administrative officer from the Office for Academic Records and Diploma Supplements at the Faculty of Science and Education in Mostar, who also took part in professional development activities.
The goal of these incoming staff mobilities from the partner institution was to foster knowledge transfer and experience exchange in the field of higher education, as well as to explore potential collaboration opportunities in joint programmes, conferences, and publications. This further strengthens international cooperation under the Erasmus+ mobility framework between programme and partner countries.
