As part of the Open Day and Career Day organized by Virovitica University of Applied Sciences in early November 2024, a panel discussion was held featuring students who participated in Erasmus+ mobilities. The panel included Marija Devald, Anja Đukić, Klara Tomljenović, and Filip Betlemović, who shared their international mobility experiences with attendees. The discussion was moderated by Erasmus+ Coordinator and Head of the Centre for International Cooperation, Danijela Vakanjac.
Among other things, the students described the activities they took part in, shared their experiences and challenges, and emphasized the knowledge, skills, and friendships they gained. They noted how the experience contributed to their personal and professional growth and broadened their perspectives regarding future careers. They particularly stressed the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone and encouraged their peers with the message: “Take advantage of the opportunities available to you—you’ll return enriched with unforgettable experiences and memories.”
These inspiring student stories confirm how international activities enrich lives, broaden horizons, and prepare young people for successful future careers.
