PERMIT
Pursuant to the permit of Ministry of Science, Education and Sports (Class: UP/I-602-04/15-13/00005; Reg. No.: 533-20-15-0004) of 1 July 2015, specialist graduate professional study programme of Management was established at Virovitica College; with two main fields: Management of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, and Destination Management.
DURATION
In accordance with the Bologna Declaration and the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act, duration of specialist graduate professional study of Management is four semesters, i.e. two years. The study programme is worth 120 ECTS credits. The study programme is carried out as full-time and part-time study.
ACADEMIC TITLE
Upon completion of the specialist graduate professional study programme of Management, the student is awarded the professional title and academic degree of:
Professional Specialist of Economics (struč. spec. oec.)
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Determine the specific features of tax system and the possibility for their application in the company s business operations
- Create a business plan, including a financial plan and a risk management plan
- Use self-evaluation to assess ones knowledge, professional competences and acquired skills, and assess relevant ways of acquiring new knowledge and skills in a formal, non-formal, and informal way
- Observe the fundamental characteristics of academic style and language of writing
- Evaluate integrated management systems in business environment on practical examples
- Recommend a business strategy for small and medium-sized enterprises
- Recommend management accounting tools for assessment of company expenses
- Assess compliance of all business activities with regulations on environmental preservation
- Recommend suitable communication techniques in a certain situation in both online and offline environments
- Create and manage entrepreneurial (and infrastructure) projects
- Recommend an appropriate marketing program and create strategic marketing documents
- Conduct a market research process anticipating trends in domestic and international markets and assess its value for business activity
- Evaluate results of financial operations taking into consideration financial and investment risks
