PERMIT
Pursuant to the permit of Ministry of Science, Education and Sports (Class: UP/I-602-04/08-13/00108; Reg. No.: 533-07-11-0004) of 27 July 2011 and in accordance with the Resolution of the Agency for Science and Higher Education on Revisions and/or Amendments to Accredited Study Programmes of more than 20% (Class: 602-04/17-02/0040, Reg. No.: 355-02-04-18-0006) of 23 February 2018, starting with the academic year 2018/2019, the revised and amended undergraduate professional study of Entrepreneurship – main field: Entrepreneurship is carried out at Virovitica College.
DURATION
In accordance with the Bologna Declaration and the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act, undergraduate professional study of Entrepreneurship – main field: Entrepreneurship, lasts six semesters. The study programme is worth 180 ECTS credits, which includes internship and submission of the undergraduate dissertation.
ACADEMIC TITLE
Upon completion of the undergraduate professional study of Entrepreneurship – main field: Entrepreneurship, the student is awarded the professional title and academic degree of:
Bachelor of Economics (bacc.oec.)
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Establishing fundamental principles and patterns of contemporary economy, principles of functioning of the market, company and organizational behaviour.
- Applying the knowledge of computer usage by using office software tools
- Assessing the legislation which affects the entrepreneurial activity.
- Reexamining the principles of sustainable development in business activity.
- Drafting a proposal for starting an entrepreneurial enterprise, creating a business idea and different options for entering entrepreneurship.
- Managing account-keeping and cost management.
- Differentiating and classifying financial reports and procedures of financial control and audit.
- Managing marketing in offline and online environments.
- Managing human potentials in small and medium-sized enterprises.
- Differentiating tools for strategic planning (fault tree analysis, goal tree, SWOT analysis).
- Drafting a research process proposal for a given problem.
- Generating business (entrepreneurial) ideas.
- Applying PCM methodology in project implementation.
- Developing presentation skills.
- Applying the skills of intercultural communication with business partners and customers in Croatian and English.
- Determining specific qualities of financial markets and institutions.
- Applying relevant mathematical and statistical methods in business practice.
