On the eve of World and European Money Week, an educational workshop titled “The Small World of Currencies” was held at Eugena Kumičića Primary School in Slatina, led by Martina Jukić. The workshop was intended for students of the 4th grade (classes 4a and 4b) with the goal of developing financial literacy through interactive learning about different world currencies, their features, and values.
Through engaging activities and practical examples, the students:
- Learned to recognize and differentiate currencies from various countries
- Understood the importance of money in everyday life and the global economy
- Developed awareness of responsible money management and saving
- Participated in games that encourage financial literacy and logical thinking
