This Erasmus+ experience not only strengthened our partnership with Polish institutions but also enhanced interdisciplinary cooperation within our own university, as it was the first time staff from all departments – Economics, Tourism, and ICT, participated together in a mobility programme.
At Sopot University of Applied Sciences, we were warmly welcomed by staff from the International Office. We were introduced to various student and university activities and toured the campus, where we had the opportunity to test cutting-edge VR equipment.
Alongside lectures by Prof. Resner, lecturers Vakanjac and Pecimotika presented Croatia, the city of Virovitica, and our university to Sopot students.
We also enjoyed a rich cultural programme, including guided tours of Sopot and Gdańsk. The time spent together helped us strengthen our partnerships and inspired colleagues and students to consider this beautiful country for future Erasmus+ exchanges, offering opportunities to gain knowledge, improve language skills, experience a new culture, and make lifelong friendships.
