Under the ERASMUS+ mobility programme for teaching staff, the Virovitica University of Applied Sciences hosted a colleague, Robin Kunju Mol Raj, from the Vysoká škola technická an ekonomická Českých Budějovice University in the Czech Republic from May 12 to 16.
With a focus on Python in data analysis, colleague Robin Kunju Mol Raj taught in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department in the courses Numerical Mathematics and Probability and Statistics during his stay. Other than lectures, he participated in part during the defences of the final theses of computer science undergraduate students.
The first defence of a final thesis in English at our university was provided by student Dario Rupčić’s defence of his work “Application for Project Management,” which set off a unique occasion. With the questions he asked and optimistic appearance, colleague Robin Kunju Mol Raj enhanced the conversation even more.
The hosts Marko Hajba and Marijana Špoljarić showed the visitor the Virovitica beauties during the stay. They visited the Virovitica City Museum, the Church of St. Roch, and took pleasure in the natural surroundings and homey cuisine at Zlatni klas as well as the Aršanja vineyards.
Through already scheduled combined scientific projects, we hope to continue the partnership!
