From 16 to 20 June 2025, another Erasmus+ staff mobility for training purposes was carried out at the University of Mostar, at the Faculty of Science and Education and the Faculty of Economics. As part of this mobility, the Dean of Virovitica University of Applied Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dejan Tubić, PhD, conducted a series of activities in accordance with the pre-agreed mobility plan.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the University of Mostar’s management and teaching staff, where the study programmes of Virovitica University of Applied Sciences were presented along with the potential for future international cooperation. Special emphasis was placed on opportunities for participation in Erasmus+ KA171 projects, the CEEPUS network, and cooperation in the fields of rural tourism, destination management, and applied research and professional activities.
As part of the mobility, a guest lecture was also held for students of the University of Mostar on the topic of the development of rural tourism and agritourism in Croatia, which sparked great interest and a discussion on similarities and opportunities for regional cooperation.
This mobility resulted in concrete agreements for continued academic and professional collaboration, future student and staff exchanges, and participation in joint conferences and publishing activities. It also contributed to strengthening the international recognition of Virovitica University of Applied Sciences.
