A guest lecture addressing student sexual health was held on November 19, 2024, in the student lounge. With the increasing prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases among young people, including students, the need to raise awareness about the importance of sexual health is greater than ever. A lack of knowledge and prevention often leads to serious health consequences, such as infertility, chronic infections, and psychological stress. The lecture, delivered by Dr. Mirta Peček, MD, provided students with information on protection, recognizing symptoms, and responsible behavior. Since students often experience stress, knowledge on this topic can contribute to alleviating it. The education was supported by the HUHIV association “I Love Health”, which provided students with informative leaflets and surprised them with thoughtful gifts aimed at protecting their health and lives.
