Students of the economics program’s 4a and 4b classes participated in the “Financial Detective Game” workshop during their Capital Market class with Professor Gordana Kovač. facilitator Marijana Špoljarić designed the workshop to introduce students to financial planning, budgeting, and saving through engaging real-life scenarios.
Divided into teams, the students took on the roles of financial detectives, analyzing various situations, identifying spending mistakes, and proposing smarter financial decisions. At the end of the workshop, they presented their findings to their peers.
A total of 31 students took part in the workshop, and through this dynamic and interactive game, they gained essential financial skills that will help them make well-informed decisions about spending and saving.
Participants emphasized that they particularly enjoyed the board game, teamwork, collective decision-making, and the challenge of finding the right financial path.
