PERMIT
Pursuant to the permit of Ministry of Science, Education and Sports (Class: UP/I-602-04/15-13/00005; Reg. No.: 533-20-15-0004) of 1 July 2015, specialist graduate professional study programme of Management was established at Virovitica College; with two main fields: Management of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, and Destination Management
DURATION
In accordance with the Bologna Declaration and the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act, duration of specialist graduate professional study of Management is four semesters, i.e. two years. The study programme is worth 120 ECTS credits. The study programme is carried out as full-time and part-time study.
ACADEMIC TITLE
Upon completion of the specialist graduate professional study programme of Management, the student is awarded the professional title and academic degree of:
Professional Specialist of Economics (struč. spec. oec.)

- Reexamining the elements of financial operations, basic terms, content and importance of managerial accounting.
- Analysing financial plans and financial reports, following financial results, managing financial and investment risks.
- Implementing market research in business decision making.
- Recommending a suitable marketing programme.
- Anticipating trends in domestic and international markets.
- Creating strategic marketing documents.
- Creating a business plan, including a financial plan and risk management plan.
- Creating and managing entrepreneurial (and infrastructure) projects.
- Establishing suitable communication techniques in a specific situation.
- Coordinating all business activities in accordance with regulations on environment preservation.
- Recommending managerial accounting tools for assessment of business expenses.
- Creating and developing new products within a certain tourism destination with regard to the principles of sustainable tourism development.
- Recommending suitable ways for managing integral tourism products.
- Using online communication platforms and other ICT tools.
- Reexamining principles of tourism policies and tourism organisation.
- Managing and coordinating sales activities (being familiar with the market, the competition, the trends).
- Evaluating integrated management systems in business environment on practical examples.
- Establishing the fundamental characteristics of academic style and language of writing.
