On December 4, the Lifelong Learning Fair was held at Stjepan Sulimanac High School in Pitomača. The fair was organized as part of Lifelong Learning Week, which runs from December 2 to December 10, with the Pitomača high school acting as the coordinator for the Virovitica-Podravina County.
The emphasis was placed on the importance of lifelong education and the opportunities available to both employed and unemployed individuals. The fair featured vocational high schools from Virovitica and Orahovica, adult education institutions, the Croatian Employment Service, and the University of Applied Sciences in Virovitica. Visitors and students had the chance to learn more about the educational programs offered within the Virovitica-Podravina County.
Lifelong Learning Week is designed as a campaign to convey the message of the importance of education and learning to the public in a direct and often informal manner. Therefore, numerous activities are organized annually as part of this campaign, including lectures, workshops, roundtables, fairs, and more.
In the Virovitica-Podravina County, various lectures and workshops will take place during Lifelong Learning Week, and you can view the full schedule HERE.
